Story & provenance
Iverson's First Signature Lives Forever
Allen Iverson's Reebok Question Mid first released in 1996 and has been in continuous production through retro waves ever since. The original setup paired Hexalite cushioning with EVA in the heel and forefoot, and a full-grain leather upper with a nubuck toebox gave the shoe its iconic look. Herringbone rubber covered the outsole. RunRepeat's modern lab cut scored the Question Mid at 90 out of 100, well above most retro silhouettes, and WearTesters, Schwollo, and SneakerFreaker have all highlighted the shoe's lasting on-court performance. The Question Mid carries deeper cultural weight than nearly any other basketball signature, having tied a brand-defining player to a single iconic silhouette for nearly three decades. Retros remain heavy sellers for Reebok Basketball.
