Super Shoe Logic Reaches The Hardwood

Released August 22, 2025 at $160, this model was marketed as the brand's first basketball super shoe. The concept began when the athlete tried a premium running sample and asked whether the same stacked-foam-and-plate formula could be moved onto the court. The result swaps the usual dual-density arrangement for a supercritical foam, bridged by a substantial shank plate, with a decoupled Flow outsole that lets forefoot and heel move independently. Design credit goes to Ed Wallace and Rick Maderis, in what became their final project together before both left the brand. Launch colorways leaned loud, including a World Tour debut and a Cotton Candy release aimed at younger hoopers. Reception was unusually warm for the line: reviewers called it the most comfortable entry in years and a fix for the firm, minimal cushioning the series had long been known for. The recurring complaints were thin, budget-feeling upper materials and Flow's familiar sensitivity to dusty floors.
