The Cosmic Unity 3 dropped in 2023 and marked a tech pivot, swapping out the full-length Zoom Air Strobel for a React foam drop-in midsole. The shift made the shoe lighter and slightly more lifestyle-friendly, with RunRepeat's lab cut and SneakerLens highlighting the smoother heel-to-toe transition. The recycled-content engineered mesh upper remained the line's signature, keeping the Move to Zero connection visible. On court, reviewers found the cushioning plush but less responsive than the Zoom-loaded predecessors, more comparable to lifestyle React than performance React. The Cosmic Unity 3 reached a wider audience than the first two models thanks to a broader colorway run and lifestyle styling, but hoopers chasing the original full-length Zoom feel were left wishing the line had stayed there.
