Topographical Outsole For A Power Forward
Jordan Brand launched the Zion 4 in December 2025 as the latest signature for Zion Williamson. The shoe rode on a low 25.2mm heel stack, paired Cushlon 3.0 foam with a full-length Air Zoom Strobel drop-in, and used a striking wavy topographical translucent rubber outsole. RunRepeat's lab cut measured 113 SA heel shock absorption alongside 63.5 percent forefoot and 71.8 percent heel energy return, putting the Zion 4 near the top of its class for cushioning performance. The fit ran snug at the toebox, fitting Zion's own foot shape. Reviewers positioned the Zion 4 as the most refined entry in the line so far, particularly suited to bigger, more explosive players who needed serious impact protection without sacrificing court feel.
