If you like the ultra-low, ground-hugging court feel built for breakaway guards, and can live with the early break-in foreign-body feel of the forefoot carbon plate, then this shoe is for you.

Context
Story & provenance
The 0th generation for Kyrie's at ANTA
Written by user: Designed with Kyrie Irving's playing style in mind, this shoe perfectly captures his on-court characteristics. Designer He Kuncheng has also given it exceptional ground feel, with two of the three carbon fiber plates positioned in the midfoot and under the metatarsal bones, and the third on the side of the midfoot, providing excellent stability. The outsole uses cement-resistant rubber, which, while not as durable as previous cement-resistant rubbers, is still considered relatively wear-resistant. There is a raised section on the medial outsole of the midfoot; having owned seven pairs of the Hurricane 5P, I believe this is intentional design. The downside is the familiar issue of sacrificing overall comfort for maximum court feel. In short, I recommend using this shoe indoors to better unleash its performance.
