A Throwback Build For Year Ten
The adidas D Rose 10 debuted in January 2019 during Derrick Rose's Minnesota Timberwolves stretch, with the design pulling clear inspiration from the early adiZero D Rose 1.5 and 2 era. Full-grain leather wrapped the upper for a premium, classic feel, and the outsole used a herringbone and circular pivot pattern that reviewers from WearTesters and BBallEquips found more reliable than the Rose 9's traction. Full-length Bounce continued underfoot, retuned slightly toward the firmer side. HoopsGeek noted the leather stretched a bit with wear, requiring lacing adjustments. At 140 dollars the shoe was hard to justify against contemporary competition, but the throwback styling and improvements over the Rose 9 made it the most-loved Rose model in years among long-time Rose fans.
